Review: Jordana Fabuliner Liquid Eye Liner

Jordana Fabuliner Liquid Eye Liner

While shopping in Walgreens one day, I stumbled upon this felt-tip liquid eyeliner. I have only tried one product from the brand Jordana, which was the Best Lash Extreme Volumizing Mascara, and really liked it. I remembered reading great reviews on this low-cost liquid liner and decided to try it out.

Jordana Fabuliner Liquid Eye Liner is said to have “Felt-Tip Precision, No Skipping or Dragging, Convenient & Easy to Use, Dramatic Eye Definition. Begin applying a thin line from the inner to the outer corner of your eyelid along your upper or lower lash line. For a more dramatic look, make your lines thicker and bolder.”

This liner looks a lot like both the Stila Stay All Day Liner and the Kat Von D Ink Liner. It is felt-tip, which I prefer when it comes to liquid liners because I feel like that makes it very easy to create the perfect cat eye. However, when I swatched it on my hand, I noticed that the quality was lacking. This was very dry and took a few swipes to give opaque pigmentation. When I first swatched it, the line looked greyish and not dark at all. I’m not sure if I just got a dried out liner but this was barely even usable. I was able to get a more opaque line after 3 or 4 swipes of color but this didn’t work on my eye AT ALL. I couldn’t get any liner onto my lash line no matter how many times I tried to apply it.

I have read great reviews on how this is a great drugstore alternative to the Stay All Day Liner, but I have to disagree. I don’t know why this was able to swatch on my hand but I wasn’t able to apply anything onto my lash line. If I didn’t get a dud, and this is truly how this liquid liner works, then I would definitely not recommend it. A great drugstore liquid liner is the Physicians Formula Eye Booster 2 in 1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner + Serum. It is quite more expensive than this Jordana Liner but it actually works.
