Review: Jordana Fabuliner Liquid Eye Liner

Jordana Fabuliner Liquid Eye Liner

While shopping in Walgreens one day, I stumbled upon this felt-tip liquid eyeliner. I have only tried one product from the brand Jordana, which was the Best Lash Extreme Volumizing Mascara, and really liked it. I remembered reading great reviews on this low-cost liquid liner and decided to try it out.

Jordana Fabuliner Liquid Eye Liner is said to have “Felt-Tip Precision, No Skipping or Dragging, Convenient & Easy to Use, Dramatic Eye Definition. Begin applying a thin line from the inner to the outer corner of your eyelid along your upper or …

Review: Physicians Formula Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner + Serum

Physicians Formula Lash Boosting Eyeliner

One of my all time favorite drugstore makeup products has to be the Physicians Formula Eye Booster 2 in 1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner + Serum. Whew! That’s quite the long name. I much prefer using felt/brush tip eyeliners rather than pencil or gel/cream liners because I find them a lot easier and quicker to use. I also haven’t found a gel/cream liner that doesn’t smudge onto my oily eyelids or under my lower lash line causing me to have raccoon eyes within a few hours. However, this eyeliner is pure magic.

Physicians Formula Eye Booster 2 in 1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner + Serum – “Lash Boosting complex targets the root of …

FOTD: Nude Lips & Thick Liner/Lashes

FOTD - Nude lips, thick lashes and liner

So I’ve been completely obsessed with nude lips recently. Everyone has seen the beautiful Kylie Jenner rocking a full nude lip and I, of course, wanted to join in on the fun. Her lips look incredibly plump and full, which can be achieved by simply lining outside of your natural lip line. My lips are already pretty full so I line just a smidge outside of my natural lip line and straight across my cupid’s bow to create that plumper effect.

I did some research and found that Kylie uses MAC Whirl/Stripdown Lip Pencil and MAC Faux/Yash/Velvet Teddy Lipstick. I’m not completely certain on which shade she uses …

Review: Kat Von D Ink Liner

Kat Von D Ink Liner

My beloved Stila Stay All Day Liquid liner dried out so I headed to Sephora in search for another great eyeliner. I heard so many great things about the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner and was pretty sure that was the one I was going to pick up. However, I noticed a new waterproof liquid eyeliner right next to the Tattoo Liner (for the same price) called the Ink Liner. I swatched both of them and found the Ink Liner to be so much darker and inkier than the Tattoo Liner. Plus, this one is waterproof so I think that’s a …

Drugstore Favorites!

Drugstore Favorites

Anytime I enter a CVS, Walgreens, or Target, I always leave with some type of makeup product. Throughout the years, I’ve  found a few favorites from the drugstore that I cannot live without. Here is a list of makeup products that I feel should be in your collection:

Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Mineral Loose Powder – When I am in a rush, I tend to just throw on some powder, concealer, do my brows, and put on mascara before I head out the door. I feel like powder foundations are faster and easier to work with than liquid foundations. I was solely a Bare Minerals foundation user but then I found this …

Stila Smudgeproof Eyeliner

I was able to order Stila’s Color Outside the Lines eyeliner set last month on clearance. This set came out as part of their holiday collection and, sadly, is out of stock. However, you can still order two of these Smudge Stick eyeliners separately in the colors Stingray and Lionfish.

How To: Winged Eyeliner

Here’s a tutorial on how I do my winged eyeliner. It honestly gets easier with practice. There are also different types of eyeliner you can use but I like using felt tip liquid liners. Today I am using the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner in Black.

Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner in Black

Begin by lining the upper lash line starting from the inner corner until about the middle of the eye. You can make the line as thin or as thick as you want.

Line the rest of the upper lash line until …
