Review: Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso

Milani Luminoso Blush2

One of my all time favorite blushes is this Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso. This color is soooo pretty! It almost reminds me of the new Hourglass Dim Infusion Ambient Lighting Blush but it has more of a sheen and is less powdery. This shade is the perfect combo of pink and coral with a hint of sheen for a natural highlight.

Milani Baked Blush is said to be “A luxurious powder blush that features a mélange infusion of colors baked on Italian terracotta tiles. Easy to use, sensorial in texture, the nuances of color become extraordinarily luminous. Silky smooth application leaves your face looking healthy and radiant all day.”

The packaging is a small, lightweight gold compact that includes a mirror and a brush applicator. This comes with 0.12 ounces of product. The brush is absolute crap so I just tossed mine and use a blush brush instead. The texture of the blush is very smooth and buttery. It is baked so it is shimmery but I don’t think it is glittery at all. It gives off the most perfect sheen highlight which is absolutely necessary for the spring.

Luminoso is described as a luminous peach with shimmer. With a light hand, this can easily give a nice flush of color to the face. However, it is also very buildable so it can come off as a strong, peach-coral color with a couple more swipes. I think it would be quite difficult to go overboard with this blush, yet this does have amazing color pay-off. This lasted on me for about 9 to 10 hours before it started to fade, which is amazing! I highly recommend getting your hands on this blush!
