Skincare Review: The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash & Lotion

The Body Shop Tea Tree Facial Wash and Lotion

I’ve recently been breaking out like crazy and needed a solution ASAP! I started getting acne on my cheeks and all around my chin and felt like I had to constantly wear my Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo foundation, which is super full coverage and doesn’t feel too comfortable on the skin during the summer time. Because it has been getting warmer in beautiful Los Angeles, I think my normal moisturizer, The Body Shop Seaweed Mattifying Moisture Lotion SPF 15, just isn’t cutting it anymore. I have heard great things about the Tea Tree line at The Body Shop and wanted to check out some of the products.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash is …

FOTD: Nude Lips & Thick Liner/Lashes

FOTD - Nude lips, thick lashes and liner

So I’ve been completely obsessed with nude lips recently. Everyone has seen the beautiful Kylie Jenner rocking a full nude lip and I, of course, wanted to join in on the fun. Her lips look incredibly plump and full, which can be achieved by simply lining outside of your natural lip line. My lips are already pretty full so I line just a smidge outside of my natural lip line and straight across my cupid’s bow to create that plumper effect.

I did some research and found that Kylie uses MAC Whirl/Stripdown Lip Pencil and MAC Faux/Yash/Velvet Teddy Lipstick. I’m not completely certain on which shade she uses …

Review: Urban Decay De-Slick Oil-Control Makeup Setting Spray

Urban Decay De-Slick spray

My skin tends to be oily no matter what season it is. However, during the hotter months, I feel like my skin becomes extremely oily. I have noticed that I’ve been needing to use 2 blotting sheets during the day now. I decided to try an oil-control setting spray to not only control my oily skin, but also to get rid of that powdery look I get after setting my makeup in the morning.

Urban Decay De-Slick Oil-Control Makeup Setting Spray is said to be “A weightless setting spray that helps makeup stay put, controls oil, and deflects surface shine. …

Review: Benefit Erase Paste

Benefit Erase Paste

One of my holy grail makeup products is, of course, an undereye concealer. Benefit Erase Paste is more of a color corrector/neutralizer rather than your normal skintone-color concealer. I never even heard of a color corrector before purchasing this. I used to slather on tons of concealer on my dark circles, which caused that area to look cakey and muddy. Applying a lot of concealer to extreme dark circles without applying a color corrector first will just make the dark circles look ashy and more noticeable. I highly recommend using a …

Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Natural lipstick

As part of Sephora’s Beauty Insider program, this year Beauty Insiders receive two free minis of a Make Up For Ever mascara and lipstick during their birthday month. I have reviewed the mascara here and finally got a chance to try out the lipstick. These are actually the first products that I have tried from Make Up For Ever.

Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Natural is said to be “An ultra-creamy lipstick with a translucent soft, shiny finish. Enriched with nourishing properties, Rouge Artist Natural keeps lips hydrated for eight hours after application. Its …

Review: NYX Butter Gloss in Creme Brulee, Tiramisu, & Peach Cobbler

NYX Butter Gloss

My beloved NYX Butter Glosses. These are my absolute favorite lip glosses of all time. Not only are they very inexpensive, but they also last relatively long and smell exactly like vanilla sugar cookies! Plus there are over 20 shades to choose from so this product is a definite must-have.

NYX Butter Gloss is said to be a “buttery lip gloss with a sweet scent that provides sheer to medium coverage on your lips without that sticky feeling. It provides nourishment with a flush of color on your lips giving you the perfect …
