Review: Wet ‘n’ Wild Comfort Zone Eyeshadow Palette

Wet and Wild Comfort Zone2

One of my all time favorite eyeshadow palettes is this drugstore palette from Wet ‘n’ Wild. This palette is so beautiful because it has the perfect mix of earth-tone neutrals. These shadows are so versatile; they can be used for a soft, daytime look or more intensely for an edgier nighttime look. I absolutely love this palette.

Wet ‘n’ Wild Comfort Zone Eyeshadow Palette – “Eight dynamic, perfectly color-coordinated shades with high pigment and pearl for ultra-impact color. Shades can be used together or individually to create an endless …

Review: Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso

Milani Luminoso Blush2

One of my all time favorite blushes is this Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso. This color is soooo pretty! It almost reminds me of the new Hourglass Dim Infusion Ambient Lighting Blush but it has more of a sheen and is less powdery. This shade is the perfect combo of pink and coral with a hint of sheen for a natural highlight.

Milani Baked Blush is said to be “A luxurious powder blush that features a mélange infusion of colors baked on Italian terracotta tiles. Easy to use, sensorial in texture, the nuances of color become extraordinarily luminous. Silky smooth …

Drugstore Favorites!

Drugstore Favorites

Anytime I enter a CVS, Walgreens, or Target, I always leave with some type of makeup product. Throughout the years, I’ve  found a few favorites from the drugstore that I cannot live without. Here is a list of makeup products that I feel should be in your collection:

Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Mineral Loose Powder – When I am in a rush, I tend to just throw on some powder, concealer, do my brows, and put on mascara before I head out the door. I feel like powder foundations are faster and easier to work with than liquid foundations. I was solely a Bare Minerals foundation user but then I found this …

Review: Neutrogena Shine Control Powder

Neutrogena Shine Control Powder

I decided to exchange my Revlon ColorStay Finishing Powder for this powder by Neutrogena. It comes in one universal shade: Invisible 10. I prefer using colorless setting powders over a matching powder to my foundation color because I feel like that prevents my makeup from caking up.

Neutrogena Shine Control Powder – “Skin stays shine-free and fresh looking all day. Blends invisibly into skin for a flawless look that’s never overdone. Perfect for on-the-go touch ups. Won’t over dry skin or clog pores. Instantly Eliminates Shine for a Fresh Look That Lasts for 8 …

Review: Buxom Show Some Skin Weightless Foundation

Buxom Foundation

Now that it’s getting warmer, it’s time to put away those full coverage foundations and bring out the tinted moisturizers and lightweight foundations! I like to use lightweight foundations during the spring and summer because I do get very oily, and the more makeup I put on my face the more likely it tends to melt off. I decided to go to Sephora and pick up this new light coverage foundation from Buxom.

Buxom Show Some Skin Weightless Foundation is said to be “A featherweight foundation with light to medium coverage and SPF 30 protection. Weightless …

Review: NYX Matte Lipstick

NYX Matte Lipstick

NYX matte lipsticks are some of my favorites! Not only are they very pigmented and affordable, they also come in a wide range of colors (33 colors total). Some new colors came out recently and I decided to try out a few.

NYX Matte Lipsticks are said to be “highly pigmented, richly formulated and long-wearing. The formula glides on smoothly and stays put in a matte finish. From Pure Red to Nude, Matte Lipsticks are available in a variety of rich shades.”

I found that the quality of these lipsticks differ between the lighter, nude …

Review: Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara

Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara

I received a sample of Smashbox’s Full Exposure Mascara in Jet Black with a recent order I placed. Mini mascaras are probably my favorite types of samples. I’ve heard of this mascara but I’m always a bit hesitant to purchase high-end mascaras just because they are so expensive and only last 3 to 4 months. I usually only stick to drugstore mascaras because I feel like it’s a better deal. However, I’m always on the look out for the perfect mascara so I was very excited to try this out.

Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara – “Inspired by the on-set …
